Welcome Message

We are very pleased to invite you to the Sixth Health Technology Assessment International (HTAi) Annual Meeting, which will take place in Singapore, from 21 to 24 June 2009 at the Suntec Siingapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre.

The annual meeting of HTAi is a forum for its diverse membership to meet and share research, experiences and establish networks of practice. The conference-proper takes place over two-and-a-half days of plenary and parallel sessions, free paper oral presentations and poster presentations. It is also book-ended by pre- and post-conference workshops and symposia on the days before and after the conference.

The theme for this year's conference is Globalisation and Health Technology Assessment, which will be explored in three sub-themes:

Globalisation and HTA
discussing the impact of globalisation on the field of HTA,
Globalisation of HTA
discussing the globalisation of HTA methods and products, and,
Globalisation of HTAi
discussing HTAi as a global organisation and how it can be relevant to regions around the world, particularly Asia.

If you are reading this, you are either a member of HTAi or you had registered to receive updates at our booth in Montreal at the last HTAi annual meeting. If you are a member of HTAi that had not registered before and would like to receive the monthly update newsletter you can e-mail us at conferenceinfo@nhg.com.sg to get on the mailing list.
