SUBMISSION FOR PROPOSAL CLOSED. THANK YOU.
The International Scientific Programme Committee (ISPC) invites HTAi members and other colleagues to
submit proposals for pre-conference workshops to be held on the Sunday prior to the opening of the 6th HTAi Annual Meeting in Singapore in 2009 and post-conference workshops on the Wednesday afternoon or Thursday after that.
In addition, the Committee will be organising basic skills courses that could run for longer than a day – these may be run at venues other than the conference venue. The basic skills courses will be 'how to do' courses on:
- HTA 101
- Economic Evaluation for HTA
- Basic Skills in Literature Searching for HTA
- Introduction to Systematic Reviews
You are encouraged not to duplicate these topics when submitting your proposals.

form below and submit it to conferenceinfo@nhg.com.sg.
The deadline for receipt of submissions has been extended to 1 December 2008..
Evaluation Criteria
- Scientific quality of the proposed workshop
- Relevance of topic to the goals of HTAi (This information is available at www.htai.org).
- Appropriateness of speakers’ qualifications to present the topic
- Appropriate funding for the session, including registration fees, if applicable
Please ensure that enough information is provided to permit the ISPC to evaluate the proposal against these criteria. If the information is not complete or not clear, the proposal may not be accepted.
Selection process

Review of all submissions by the ISPC
- Recommendation of workshops by the ISPC to the Local Organising Committee (LOC) by 1 December 2008
- Final decisions taken by the LOC by 31 December 2008
